WHO WE ARE

HeartLift™ by Cody ("HeartLift™", "we", "us") is operated by LOVERBOYYY ESSENTIALS, an Ontario sole proprietorship owned by Cody Laughlin, based in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. Our store is at shop.loverboyyy.com.

WHAT WE COLLECT

  • You reserve or join our list: Email, first name (optional), size, colour vote. Why: To hold your reservation, count demand, and (only if you opt in) email you.
  • You place an order (later): Name, shipping/billing address, email, phone (optional), order details. Why: To fulfil, ship, support and account for your order.
  • Payments: Handled by Shopify Payments / our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Why: To take payment.
  • You browse: Device, browser, pages viewed, referring link, IP address, cookie/pixel IDs. Why: To run the site, prevent fraud, and measure and improve our marketing.
  • You contact us: Your message and details. Why: To answer you.

COOKIES, PIXELS AND ANALYTICS

We use:

  • Shopify cookies (cart, checkout, security)
  • Google Analytics 4 (site analytics)
  • Meta Pixel + Conversions API (measures ads and visits from Instagram/Facebook; we may share hashed email or order events with Meta)

You can block cookies in your browser and opt out of ad personalization in your Meta and Google settings. Blocking some cookies may break the cart.

EMAIL MARKETING (CASL)

We only send marketing email if you tick the box to say yes. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we act on it within 10 business days. We keep a record of when and how you agreed.

WHO WE SHARE WITH

Only service providers who help us run the business: Shopify (store hosting, checkout, email), payment processors, shipping carriers (Canada Post or Chit Chats), Google, Meta, Shopify Email, our accountant, and our manufacturer (only if needed for a warranty issue, never your card data). We don't sell your personal information.

Some providers store data outside Canada (e.g. the US). It may then be accessible to authorities there under local law.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Reservation/list data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 24 months after the drop closes. Order records: as long as tax law requires (CRA generally requires 6 years).

YOUR CHOICES

You can ask to access, correct, or withdraw consent for your information. Email cody@loverboyyy.com. We'll answer within 30 days. If you're unhappy, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

SECURITY

We use Shopify's secure platform, strong passwords and two-factor login on our accounts, and limit access to Cody only.

AGE

Our products are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
